Welcome to The Edenglow Art Studio

What began as a handful of helpful coloring tips has grown into something much bigger: an entire free course in coloring, colored-pencil techniques, color theory, creative art skills, and hands-on projects.

The Edenglow Art Studio is designed for curious beginners, experienced colorists who want to strengthen their skills, parents and grandparents creating alongside children, homeschool families, teachers, caregivers, and anyone who simply wants to understand a little more about how color works. Start with the basics or wander directly into the subjects that interest you—there are lessons on tools, pressure, layering, blending, burnishing, highlights and shadows, creating dimension, realistic textures, coloring glass, metal, water, fur, flowers and other tricky subjects, building beautiful palettes, fantasy projects, children's art activities, and much more.

The complete Art Studio course is currently free to use, with no registration required. Lessons and accompanying tutorial graphics may be printed for your own personal use, for homeschooling, or for use with students in your own classroom or educational group. Please don't resell, redistribute, republish, upload, bundle, or use Edenglow Art Studio materials commercially.

And the Studio isn't finished. New lessons, techniques, experiments, children's activities, and special projects will continue arriving as we discover new things worth trying. There is no required order, no homework to turn in, and certainly no grading. Follow the course from the beginning, choose a section, or simply open whichever door looks interesting today.

Bring the pencils you already have. Bring a coloring book, a sketchbook, or a piece of scrap paper. Bring the kids if you'd like.

The Studio is open. Come make something.
