Special Projects

Some pages deserve their own adventure. Special Projects is where we tackle the wonderfully unusual subjects—the dragons, goblins, magical creatures, seasonal characters, fantasy worlds, and other peculiar things that don't quite belong in an ordinary coloring lesson. Each guide takes one subject and explores ways to choose colors, build texture, create light and shadow, add atmosphere, and give it personality. Follow the suggestions, ignore half of them, invent something completely unexpected—because when you're coloring a dragon or a goblin, reality has already left the building.
