Welcome to Edenglow Manor. The rooms are quiet, the fires are lit, and no one is going to ask why you’ve been staring at the same page for twenty minutes. This collection of ethereal Celtic instrumentals was created for studying, reading, meditation, creative work, relaxation, and the occasional dramatic escape from reality. Each piece opens the door to a different room inside the manor—a candlelit library, a hidden conservatory, a moonlit tower, or some other place the goblins probably forgot to dust. Settle in, choose your room, and let the music keep you company for a while.
Every imaginary place needs a doorway.
Welcome to Edenglow is mine.
This instrumental was created as the musical entrance to Edenglow Manor—the place I imagine at the center of this strange little world I've been building. Hidden deep in the forest, reached by an old bridge through the mist, it's a house of glowing windows, ivy-covered stone, forgotten staircases, enormous libraries, secret rooms, and undoubtedly a goblin somewhere doing something he was specifically told not to do.
Unlike many Edenglow songs, this one isn't really telling a story. It's inviting you into one.
I wanted the music to feel like that first approach to the manor: soft Celtic melodies, piano and harp, warm lantern light appearing through the trees, and that little sense of anticipation you get when you're about to cross a threshold and don't quite know what you'll find on the other side.
That's also why this piece begins the Welcome to Edenglow Manor collection. Each instrumental that follows takes the listener somewhere else inside the house—a different room, atmosphere, or quiet corner to inhabit while reading, studying, creating, relaxing, or simply escaping the real world for a while.
But before you can explore the rooms, you have to come inside.
Cross the bridge. Follow the lanterns. Welcome to Edenglow.
If Welcome to Edenglow brings you onto the grounds of the manor, Entry to Edenglow brings you to the front door.
This piece represents that small moment just before entering—when you've followed the lantern-lit path through the forest, the house is finally standing before you, and you're close enough to see the warm light glowing through the windows.
But the doors haven't opened yet.
I wanted the music to linger there for a while. There's no urgency, no mystery demanding to be solved, and certainly no need to knock three times while reciting something in Latin. Just pause.
Listen to the forest behind you. Look back at the path that brought you here. Let the soft Celtic melody and slow atmospheric movement create that feeling of standing between two places—the ordinary world you've just left and whatever might be waiting on the other side of those enormous wooden doors.
That's something I love about thresholds. For one brief moment, both possibilities still exist. You can turn around and go home, or you can open the door and find out what's inside.
Of course, this is Edenglow.
You didn't come all this way to turn around.
Come in. The door's been waiting for you.
